My name is Emilie Haugrud, B.Ed.
A certified teacher passionate about personalized learning. After teaching in Alberta and Saskatchewan, I saw that every child learns differently and families need flexible, individual, tailored support. That’s why I created Prairie Learning Co — to make individualized learning simple and accessible.
Why Prairie Learning Co?
Traditional classrooms don’t work for every child — whether they struggle to flourish in that setting, have outside commitments that make a full school day difficult, or simply find that homeschooling is a better fit, I started Prairie Learning Co to offer families a supportive, flexible alternative. Here, learning is built around your child — not the other way around. With customized plans, adaptable strategies, and ongoing support, I help kids grow in ways that work for them. Education should be something that lifts children up — not holds them back.
What We Offer
At Prairie Learning Co, I create personalized homeschool plans and offer one-on-one tutoring for Kindergarten to Grade Five students. Every plan is built around your child’s unique learning style, needs, and goals.
